Parent-School Communication
In addition to our school website, we use a number of tools and platforms to communicate with the friends and families of Royal Rise.
Letters
The school will regularly send letters home, via email, regarding events, trips, invitations, workshops and other activities. Please ensure the school office has your correct email address. They will also be available to downloaded here and printed copies of these letters are available by request.
Texting Service
We will continue to use our texting service so please ensure that any changes to mobile numbers are shared with us. Occasionally we will use abbreviated words in our texts as they are limited to 140 characters. Please do not attempt to reply to these texts as we will not receive them. Please either visit, call or email us if you have a query.
Social Media
We have an official Facebook page for Royal Rise, which can be found here: www.facebook.com/royalriseprimary– please ‘Like’ and follow our page for regular updates and reminders. As this is a more open platform we initially intend to use it for sharing information about upcoming events, letters going home, updates to our website and resources, questionnaires and so on.
We understand there are many of our families on Facebook so we are hopeful this will be a positive way to increase awareness and communication between Royal Rise and the local community. We encourage parents/families to interact with us on our Facebook page and will look to respond to comments in a timely manner. However, we kindly ask that any problems/concerns/issues you have still be directed to us via the usual channels (phone, office and email). We reserve the right to remove any negative, harassing or inappropriate comments that may appear.
School Calendar
Our school calendar provides information on upcoming events. You can also subscribe to this calendar on your mobile devices or home computers by clicking the iCal button at the bottom.
Email Service
We use the email service to send letters and forms directly to your email inbox. Copies of any correspondence sent via email will be available in the office as well. Please ensure your correct email address is made available to us. Please do not attempt to reply to these emails as we will not receive them. Please either visit, call or message us if you have a query.
Contacting the School and Staff
You can use our main contact page to send the school office a message or you can call us on 01732 354 143.
