Home Learning January 2021
Dear Parents/ Carers,
Due to the partial closure of schools in Kent, we have moved our learning online. Thankfully, the children have been using Microsoft Teams to complete their Home Learning each Wednesday afternoon so this system should be familiar.
How it works
Each day your child's class teacher will upload work/ tasks for the day which need to be completed at home. Once your child has completed these tasks, they can upload their completed lessons/ evidence onto the Teams platform for the teacher to look at.
- All children have been issued with passwords and an email address and these have been sent home with your child in their home learning book
- Inside this book you will also find step by step instructions about how to use Microsoft Teams
- The children have practised logging on at school and their teacher has shown them how to access assignments and upload completed work
- The teachers have made sure what the children are learning in school links closely with the work that has been set on Microsoft teams. These may take the form of PowerPoints, links to Oak Academy, worksheets, video clips etc.
We have attached the Microsoft Teams help sheet should you require any assistance
If you have any questions about your child's Home Learning, please contact the class teacher directly on their email address:

Online safety
Your child will be spending more time on line therefore it is important that you talk to them about being safe and monitor and support your child whilst they are learning online.
